Have you heard of Big E Welcome?

If not, you should check it out ASAP! You can do this by searching #BigEWelcome on social media or by visiting the Big E Welcome website.

Big E Welcome is an event for all new incoming students, which lasts over a three-day period. You may ask, what all can students do during those three days? The simple answer is that they have a lot of fun! EKU wants to begin hyping up #FutureColonels for Big E Welcome next fall. Here’s a few things to look forward to:

• Big E Photo & Playfair: During this time, students have the opportunity to play games, make new friends, and take a picture in the shape of the Big E!
• Big E Bash:Do you like free food? Does a foam pit sound awesome? If so, then you would love the Big E Bash! Join your fellow Colonel’s to eat some pizza and dance in the foam pit.
• Welcome Walk:Have you ever walked through a crowd of people who were cheering for you? No? During the Welcome Walk, you will get the chance to do that! Faculty and staff from all around campus line up to welcome new students.
• College Open Houses:By the time you arrive on campus you may or may not have chosen a major. Either way, you will have the opportunity to learn more about your desired major and meet students who share the same interests as you. Additionally, you will be able to connect with faculty and staff from various fields.
• President’s Picnic:If you don’t already, you should follow EKU’s president, Michael Benson, on social media! When you attend Big E Welcome, you will have a picnic with President Benson himself! How cool is that?

There are many other events to write about from Big E Welcome, but this post has to end at some point! You get the point though, right? Big E Welcome is awesome and you definitely do not want to miss out!
