Thanks for Attending Our Colonel Country Event

Thank you future EKU Colonels, families and friends for attending the November 12, 2011, “Welcome to Colonel Country” event.  This special welcome reception was by invitation only for students who have the distinction of being admitted to EKU for the 2012 school year.  More than 250 students and their guests visited the EKU Richmond campus.

The day was action packed and included remarks from EKU President Doug Whitlock, one-on-one time with distinguished EKU alums, and conversations with EKU student leaders who shared their EKU experiences.  Students and guests had the opportunity to tour the campus, and everyone was treated to lunch before heading to Roy Kidd Stadium to cheer on the “Big E.”  All recently admitted students were easy to spot in the cheering section since they were wearing their future Colonel T-shirts they received during the “Welcome to Colonel Country” event.
