Community Open Houses/Receptions
These community open houses/receptions introduce Eastern Kentucky University to prospective students and their families in a relaxed, informal setting. By taking the university to various cities across the region, EKU is able to reach families who may not have the opportunity to visit our campus.

At these receptions, you will be able to:
- Meet with representatives from the five academic colleges and from various student service areas to discuss opportunities available at Eastern Kentucky University.
- Waive the $30 application fee if you submit your application for admission. (Application must be turned in at the reception to be eligible for the $30 application fee waiver.)
