General Admissions Visits
The General Admissions Visit is a 1.5 hour campus experience designed to familiarize you with all the wonderful majors and activities you can expect to become involved with after you are admitted to the University. During this visit, you will learn about EKU through an overview presentation and take a walking tour led by a current EKU student.
- General Admissions Visits are offered weekday mornings beginning at 9:00am EST on Monday and 9:30am EST on Wednesday and Thursday.
- General Admissions Visits are offered weekday afternoons beginning at 1:30pm EST on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- All weekday campus visits begin in Room 112 of the Whitlock Building. Free parking is available in the Alumni Coliseum parking lot nearby.
View EKU Visit
Available year-round, View EKU is a 2.5 hour campus visit designed to give you a detailed view of our campus during your time with us. This visit will include a student-led walking/riding tour of the North and South side of campus, a residence hall, and the student recreation center.
View EKU Visits are offered Monday mornings at 11:00am EST and Friday at 9:30am and 1:30pm EST.
EKU Twilight Tour Tuesdays
The Twilight Tour is designed to acclimate the prospective student to the EKU campus and showcase the many programs we offer. Along with the tour, the evening includes dinner and a brief overview of the campus by an Admissions Counselor.
Twilight Tours are offered on select Tuesdays through October 25:
- September 13
- September 27
- October 11
- October 25
If you are unable to visit on a weekday when classes are in session, we offer programs on select Saturdays in the fall and spring for prospective and admitted students. Saturday Visits include an admissions presentation, a walking tour of campus and lunch. Please Note: College and departmental meetings and class visits are not available on these days.
Saturday Visits for fall are offered on September 17. If you cannot attend this date, but wish to visit on a weekend, we encourage you to attend an EKU Spotlight Day.
EKU Spotlight Day
Spotlight Days are held on the Richmond Campus on selected Saturday mornings during the fall and spring terms. Learn more about life at EKU and the college experience, meet with a panel of current EKU students who will share their "Eastern Experience," visit the academic/student services showcase to browse informational booths, take a campus tour, and mingle with faculty and staff from across the University. Spotlight Days will be offered on:

Academic Information Sessions
EKU offers an in-depth look at two of our most prestigious programs: the College of Justice and Safety and the College of Business and Technology. Students have an opportunity to get an overview of EKU, a campus and facility tour of each college. All tours are led by current EKU students and are scheduled to last 2 hours.
The College of Justice and Safety
The College of Justice and Safety was designated a Program of Distinction by the Council for Post-Secondary Education in 1998 and is the largest undergraduate program at EKU with more than 800 majors and more than 1,200 students. The College of Justice and Safety at EKU offers unique degree programs that prepare you for the rapidly growing and challenging fields. The College of Justice and Safety offers majors through two different schools:

- Justice, Policy and Leadership
Safety, Security and Emergency Management:
- Emergency Medical Care

The College of Business and Technology
With nearly 2,000 students, 100 faculty and staff, and more than 50 academic programs, the College of Business and Technology offers a quality educational experience that is competitively priced and provides exceptional preparation for careers in today's workplace. The College of Business and Technology offers majors through two different schools:

Freshman Major Meetups
Plan now to experience one of EKU's Major Meetup events, and spend a full day on the Richmond campus. After completing our Weekday Campus Visit, you'll have the opportunity to meet with faculty and advisors from the college that interests you the most to learn more about various degree programs offered within the college.
Freshman Major Meetups will resume in Fall 2016! If you would like to visit EKU sooner, please register for a General Admissions Visit.
When you can't come to EKU, we try to bring EKU to you. Open Houses are a great opportunity to learn more about EKU when we're in your area!

Experience EKU Honors Day
Interested in EKU Honors? This is the day for you! During your visit, you will learn more about Honors, tour campus, have lunch in our dining facility, visit the Honors Living Learning Community in Burnam Hall, experience a sample Honors class, and have your questions answered by a panel of Honors staff and students. Dates for EKU Honors Days will be released in June 2016.
Transfer and Adult Learners
If you are an adult learner or transfer student register for one of our Transfer Visits given by our Student Outreach and Transition Office (SOTO).
We also offer special Group Tours for elementary, middle and high school students. Group Tours are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. Learn more and sign-up.
