In the Office of Admissions, we recognize the importance of your role as a Guidance Counselor to the students and school system you serve. Let this page serve as a guide to help you share information about EKU's many opportunities with the students in your school.
Apply Now for Fall 2018
It all starts with the application! Students are required to submit an official high school transcript, ACT or SAT scores, and to pay the $35 application fee to finalize their application to EKU.

Freshman Admissions Standards
Eastern Kentucky University takes a holistic approach to determining admission. Students who meet the state established benchmarks below are guaranteed admission to the university as a first-time freshman:
- ACT English: 18+
- ACT Math: 19+
- ACT Reading: 20+
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading/Writing: 490
- SAT Math: 480
- High School Cumulative GPA (Unweighted): 2.5
All applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
